  1. Without a doubt, my favourite metal bird. Especially when I think about my mom travelling to London in her day on a Britol Brittania (four engined prop), stopping over in Bermuda and then the B707 (Four engines again).

    Now us ‘blokes’ fly up on two GE90’s, the most powerful versions in the sky (the huge A380 RR’s inclusive)! That is an amazing thing, no matter how you slice it.

  2. ETOPS has actually made four engined aircraft not as relevant as they used to be.
    Also new engines are able to operate so efficiently that you only need two.
